TS Alyse collection is a collection of warm and friendly typefaces. Generally speaking, this genre of typefaces is called “humanist,” whose origin is a handwritten style of humanist scholars. Humanist scholars developed the writing style for the sake of thelegibility of written books. TS Alyse goes further for the contemporary environments of reading on the web and electronic devices. They are different from writing books, letters are on white paper with black ink, but now texts are on colored/dark backgrounds with white. It requires an additional approach—the wits of a type designer.
